I work for Simple as a data engineer and sometimes analyst. For exploratory data analysis, I use Python (largely pandas) and The Jupyter Notebook. To share visualizations, I use Tableau. As an engineer I've been focusing on learning Scala and Clojure, but remain most familiar with Python. I have recently built out functionality on an open source Python project for interacting with Redshift.

Previously, I worked for the data visualization firm Periscopic; my portfolio for that work follows.
